Collins

I cut Collins' hair last night before bath! I decided that with the Georgia heat, I should cut his hair really short. I have never cut his hair before, but I decided that I couldn't really mess up a somewhat buzz cut. It doesn't look too bad for a first time, but I can see few places that I need to fix.

BEFORE

Click on the Hairy picture to see close-up just how covered he is! No wonder he isn't putting his arms down, he is so itchy. I think next time we will just wear a shirt.

AFTER I think I will rethink the location next time.

Grace

Grace just came up to me and said that she doesn't know who she is going to marry. She says this more frequently then you would think, but it is what she said afterwards that makes me wonder about my crazy husband. She said that she is worried that she is going to marry someone who doesn't cheer for Georgia, and then Daddy will be mad and "spank her" instead of "give her ice cream". Now, I can remember not all that long ago when Greg would say that one of his fears was that his kids would root for another school, because they are rebelling against him and feeling pressure. He swore that he would try to be less intense about his Georgia Football in front of the kids, and he would try to make it FUN! I think he needs help from someone who is actually licensed to give help. GO DAWGS! : )

Happy Birthday Day Daddy!

Collins is in his diaper, because his mother doesn't get stains out of clothes very well. Notice that Grace is dressed. Her clothes were from Target, and Collins' were from Gymboree! : )

Grace looks hungry!

Yummy! (Cake and Greg!)

I made Greg try on one of his birthday outfits. He looked very nice!

Mother's Day Gift!

Guess who started Obedience Training yesterday? Ironically enough, my Mother's day gift started on Father's Day! : )

Candy is staking out her prey here.

Attacking her prey! The little guy never new what hit him!

Here she is making sure that the older one think that she loves her any less. Poor Collins is still flat on his back, but you can't see him because of the fur ball is in front of him.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to one of the Greatest Father ever!! He is on the floor right now with Grace and Collins playing. This is where you can find him every night, from the second he gets home from work, until we get the kids ready for bed. He will usually do the bath, while I pajama up the crowd. Then we each put one of the kids to bed, but if he had it his way, he would put them both down. He also often says "Lets wake the kids up and play with them", of course we never do, thank goodness! It was the thought that counts. He looked at me yesterday with a dead serious look and said how can I ever let them grow up? He teared up thinking about Grace getting married! It sounds like Grace is going to have to elope so that Greg doesn't shame the whole family with his racking sobs! : ) Just Kidding! We all love you!

Recital Night!

Well, last nights recital, went very well. Collins lasted for 3 performances, before I left with him to walk the halls. I stood in the back and watched Grace's class. They were 7th out of 33! It didn't start until 6:45pm, so we didn't stay for the whole thing. We left around 8pm. We all had a good time, and Grace got lots of flowers and a Trophy. I didn't get any pictures of Collins, because he was on the move with Greg around the school while we were taking pictures.

Big Hair! This is in the middle of fixing her hair, but for some crazy reason I didn't take a finished pic! I think it is because it wasn't as funny as this picture. : )

This is a picture just before we left to go home. Behind Grace is Will and Max, and next to her is Claire. They are my sister Missy's three kids. Notice who is unable to look at the camera! : )Grace is griping a piece of gum for she and Collins from Grandma. I think that was her favorite thing!

Dance!

Well, it is finally dance recital week. Grace is very excited! We had rehearsal tonight, and the recital is on Wednesday night. We also picked up her pictures this evening. I am very happy that she looked at the camera, because we had to prepay sight unseen if we wanted pictures.

Do you like the High School Mall hair? Grace's hair had so much hairspray on it, that she smelled like she had been in a bar all afternoon drinking! : )

Hopefully all will go well Wednesday night. During one of her last recitals, she didn't come out of stage. She was 3 and when her whole class came out, Grace was not with them! I ran behind stage with my heart racing! I found her holding hands with a girl in a different class! I was very upset to think that they had lost her. I grabbed her and raced her to the stage. They stopped the show, and Grace slowly made her way on stage. The second it was over I followed her back to the back, and watched the whole class for the rest of the recital. Needless to say, we switched dance studios.

College

I have been very reminiscent of college these last couple of months. I think it is because of all of my friends blogs that I have been reading lately. I decided to dig through some old dusty basement boxes and find some pictures! : ) I hope you all enjoy!

Fun Weekend!

We had a pretty busy weekend, but we had a great time! Friday night, I went out with Onna, Carie, Christy, Miranda, Susan, and Jenifer. We went to Bahama Breeze for dinner, and then we went and saw "Sex and the City". We had a lot of fun! The movie was wonderful, and the martini was delicious. Then Saturday we went to the Fishing Rodeo at my parents lake, and Grace caught 3 fish. She was thrilled!

The 1st fish!

Fishing with Daddy! Looking at the camera is almost impossible for her.

Then later that day we went to Henley's birthday party. For those of you who know Henley's Mom, Jenifer Jiacopello (Jones) then you it will not be a big surprise to know that it was the most elaborate 5 year old's party that I have ever been to. It was a 50's Sock Hop, and Jenifer spared no expense. She had her husband Josh dressed up like a Soda Jerk, and she had a full service diner with hot dog baskets and ice cream floats and moon pies. The kids loved it, and there was a lot of music and dancing. I have many pictures.

Grace with actual eye contact!! It gives me chills of excitement! : )

Grace and Henley dancing. Notice in the back ground the little girl in pink and the boy to her left. Those are Andy Green's kids. Tyler and Emma

BIG FUN!
