She has been so exited for the last few days, that I can't even get a word in edgewise. I have had to scream over her most of the weekend to get her to pay any attention to me. Things like "GOOD MORNING GRACE!!!" "DO YOU WANT SOME BREAKFAST?!!" it was exhausting. Finally it came... Monday! She was so exited that it was very hard to focus all of her energy on getting to school. After what seemed like hours, we finally headed out the door. I even managed to take a couple of pictures.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SLR0KRLOCJI/AAAAAAAAAKg/_D5FpuWMLO0/s400/DSC_0717.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238939986296703122" />

This was the first present of the day, it was an High School Musical Umbrella. This is how I got her to eat her breakfast, I promised a present. Although it was unfortunate that with all the rain we have been getting the last few days, it stopped raining when we headed to school.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SLSKcML81vI/AAAAAAAAAKo/OE6OF_85cTs/s400/DSC_0722.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238964483451049714" />
This is Grace's fake smile, and Collins' five seconds and I am out of here smile. Which is the reason I only have a picture of them together with Grace's fake smile. It takes a while to get genuine.

The next few were taken in a matter of 10 seconds. Notice the wave of emotions she was experiencing!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SLSLzfaOZgI/AAAAAAAAAKw/sNTjCqSD7xo/s400/DSC_0724.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238965983259813378" />

2 seconds later

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SLSOUC2QvNI/AAAAAAAAAK4/1_3eGuEHE2s/s400/DSC_0725.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238968741551717586" />
As crazy as this one is, it is my favorite. We were going to have it at the Bridgemill pool, because they were having a Dive-in-Movie "Hannah Montana 3-D". Although, the weather had another plan for us! Luckily Grace is so easy going, and I could have asked her if it sounded good to just eat PB&J in the car for her party, and she would have said yes. However, we decided not to go that drastic, and to have it at the Mexican restaurant that she loves, right outside our subdivision. Here are a few pictures. We all had a great time, and it was a much easier clean up then the ones at our house! : )

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SLRRhpAT7CI/AAAAAAAAAKI/P7MAGGznA8Y/s400/DSC_0676.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238901904923421730" />
Grace was very excited about her golf cart that she has been asking for since June when she saw it at her cousin Claire's birthday. Claire is right next to her, and her other cousin Katie is in the back ground.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SLRS_kiTwjI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/TVIqbExRtjw/s400/DSC_0674.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238903518631543346" />
Collins was equally excited about his new cars from Grandma. It was a while later, that I looked over at her and her eyes were bugging out of her head at me as she dramatically showed me that the lid was not budging. I even had trouble getting it off!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SK4KpSrJ7OI/AAAAAAAAAJw/50Y8smUhCYY/s400/DSC_0617.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5237135121182223586" />
As you can see from this one, she was already giving me the dramatic I can't get this lid of gesture. She is very excited, because she gets to take cupcakes. That is all for now, although, I will add some pictures.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SJXyesOYH1I/AAAAAAAAAJQ/ts_8tXeKD6A/s400/DSC_0530.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230353151342157650" />
Collins and Dad at the Lake feeding the ducks.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SJXzkQrJDsI/AAAAAAAAAJY/osthDSjwuPU/s400/DSC_0558.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230354346537455298" />
Grace and Collins playing with the Dora house.

My MeMe

My friend, Lisa, and Amy, "tagged" me for a meme? Could you imagine living with an animal that came up to your chest?! Yikes!

We had a great 4th. We went fishing at my parents lake in the morning, and then we had a big Bar-B-Que dinner, and then we all went to the Fireworks. She says this more frequently then you would think, but it is what she said afterwards that makes me wonder about my crazy husband. She said that she is worried that she is going to marry someone who doesn't cheer for Georgia, and then Daddy will be mad and "spank her" instead of "give her ice cream". Now, I can remember not all that long ago when Greg would say that one of his fears was that his kids would root for another school, because they are rebelling against him and feeling pressure. He swore that he would try to be less intense about his Georgia Football in front of the kids, and he would try to make it FUN! I think he needs help from someone who is actually licensed to give help. He is on the floor right now with Grace and Collins playing. This is where you can find him every night, from the second he gets home from work, until we get the kids ready for bed. He will usually do the bath, while I pajama up the crowd. Then we each put one of the kids to bed, but if he had it his way, he would put them both down. He also often says "Lets wake the kids up and play with them", of course we never do, thank goodness! It was the thought that counts. He looked at me yesterday with a dead serious look and said how can I ever let them grow up? He teared up thinking about Grace getting married! It sounds like Grace is going to have to elope so that Greg doesn't shame the whole family with his racking sobs! : ) Just Kidding! Collins lasted for 3 performances, before I left with him to walk the halls. I stood in the back and watched Grace's class. They were 7th out of 33! It didn't start until 6:45pm, so we didn't stay for the whole thing. We left around 8pm. We all had a good time, and Grace got lots of flowers and a Trophy. I didn't get any pictures of Collins, because he was on the move with Greg around the school while we were taking pictures.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SFGwJ9ivhuI/AAAAAAAAAF8/W7-iLssOPa0/s400/DSC_0426.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211139929029969634" />
Big Hair! Grace is very excited! We had rehearsal tonight, and the recital is on Wednesday night. We also picked up her pictures this evening. I am very happy that she looked at the camera, because we had to prepay sight unseen if we wanted pictures.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SE27cuAif3I/AAAAAAAAAFs/GJvel__P_lw/s400/dance2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5210026445998554994" />
Do you like the High School Mall hair? Grace's hair had so much hairspray on it, that she smelled like she had been in a bar all afternoon drinking! : )

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SE27rc6cQVI/AAAAAAAAAF0/lXlCLoZ1e1A/s400/dance.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5210026699107615058" />

Hopefully all will go well Wednesday night. During one of her last recitals, she didn't come out of stage. She was 3 and when her whole class came out, Grace was not with them! I ran behind stage with my heart racing! I found her holding hands with a girl in a different class! I was very upset to think that they had lost her. I grabbed her and raced her to the stage. They stopped the show, and Grace slowly made her way on stage. The second it was over I followed her back to the back, and watched the whole class for the rest of the recital. Needless to say, we switched dance studios.

College

I have been very reminiscent of college these last couple of months. Friday night, I went out with Onna, Carie, Christy, Miranda, Susan, and Jenifer. We went to Bahama Breeze for dinner, and then we went and saw "Sex and the City". We had a lot of fun! The movie was wonderful, and the martini was delicious. Then Saturday we went to the Fishing Rodeo at my parents lake, and Grace caught 3 fish. She was thrilled!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SESVkvkevGI/AAAAAAAAAEI/419WddN840E/s400/DSC_0336.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207451527624440930" />
The 1st fish!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SESWVfkevHI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/StezhQu7E7E/s400/DSC_0337.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207452365143063666" />
Fishing with Daddy! Looking at the camera is almost impossible for her.

Then later that day we went to Henley's birthday party. For those of you who know Henley's Mom, Jenifer Jiacopello (Jones) then you it will not be a big surprise to know that it was the most elaborate 5 year old's party that I have ever been to. It was a 50's Sock Hop, and Jenifer spared no expense. She had her husband Josh dressed up like a Soda Jerk, and she had a full service diner with hot dog baskets and ice cream floats and moon pies. The kids loved it, and there was a lot of music and dancing. I have many pictures.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SESY3vkevII/AAAAAAAAAEY/8uRHYzaIIEc/s400/DSC_0360.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207455152576838786" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SESaovkevJI/AAAAAAAAAEg/ZMlk1y7xpOw/s400/DSC_0364.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207457093902056594" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SEVnNPkevKI/AAAAAAAAAEo/6W7CHfr8Ato/s400/carlie.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207682021339348130" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SEVrIPkevMI/AAAAAAAAAE4/VKqHb3441yo/s400/DSC_0390.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207686333486513346" />
Grace with actual eye contact!! She was very dirty from the mud and rain. I always think she is so cute after a bath! Greg thinks that she looks like a Muppet. We have never done that with any of our other dogs, but Candy is so big, her nose touches the top of our kitchen table. Poor Collins eats so little already, now he has to block his food from the dog. It is funny to look at the table while the kids are eating breakfast and see Candy's head slowly raise up next to Grace. She likes to check out what they are eating just before she goes in for the kill. Collins doesn't stand a chance with his little hand full of food dangling below the table. Who is she kidding anyway, by checking it out first? She would eat anything, especially if Collins looks like he is already enjoying it himself. I will try to get a picture of Grace guarding her food, she has become very good at making a circle around it with her arms. Candy has helped me teach her not to get up from the table until she is finish! : ) Needless to say, training is on our summer to do list.

Wild Weekend!

Our weekend was suppose to be a little busy, with Grace's end of the school year picnic on Friday, Greg's Mom's Birthday Saturday, and Memorial Day cookouts and Pool opening.

Friday morning started with me yelling "Last Day Of School!" spontaneously through breakfast, just enough to have Grace so excited, that she almost wet her pants! :) Here are a few pictures, you can tell she is having a hard time standing still and looking at the camera.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SD2FEPkeu9I/AAAAAAAAADA/KRFQhEvY7zs/s400/DSC_0327.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5205463052255673298" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SD2Hs_keu_I/AAAAAAAAADQ/6WrXFT1CUzc/s400/DSC_0329.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5205465951358598130" />

Well, with everything on track, I dropped Grace off and did some running around before the picnic. Then when we(Greg, Collins,and I) arrived at school, I was even early. I saw my friends car, who I had talked to that morning. She had told me that she had gone to the Minute Clinic and she had caught her daughter's Strep Throat, and she also had a double ear infection. I noticed that she was laying down, and when I got to the car to wave, she looked at me and she was on her phone and her eye's were all red. I thought she was on the phone talking to her husband and crying because she felt sick. I went back to my car, and that is when she laid on the horn. I went back to the car and she was still laying down, so I opened the door. She said that she was having severe stomach cramps that felt like she was in labor. If you knew her, you would know that she never ever complains, even when she probably should. Since she wasn't pregnant, it was very alarming, and she handed me her cell phone, and asked me to call 911. The next 2 hours are a blur. Luckily Greg was there, so after the Ambulance got there I was able to go with her to the hospital. I met her Mom there, and we waited all day while Jennifer was in horrible pain. Her husband was out of town at a golf weekend in NC, and he was driving most of the afternoon to get to the ER. I finally had to leave around 5pm, and they still didn't know too much. Her Mom called me later to say that she was in the ICU and the Infectious Disease Dr. said that she had pseudo toxic shock from the strep virus and that the next 24hours were very critical for her. It was pretty awful, I spent most of the weekend waiting for calls from her Mom for updates. She has now been up graded to a regular room, and she calls me for our normal morning talks. However, she still is so tired that she can't sit up for longer then 10 minutes. Like I said before, she doesn't complain, so even though she says she feels good, I can tell by her soft quite voice (not normal) that she still is feeling pretty bad. Here is a picture of her with her little girl who was in Grace's class this year.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SD2SuPkevBI/AAAAAAAAADg/IJ6sH963iQo/s400/DSC_0099.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5205478067461340178" />

The rest of the weekend went like we thought. Saturday, Greg went with his parents to see Indiana Jones, and then the kids and I met them for dinner at Long Horns for Brenda's Birthday. Then on Sunday we went to Greg's sister's for a cookout and birthday cake. Monday we went to the pool for a few hours and then had a calm day at home. The kids enjoyed the pool, Collins loved that Star 94 was there. He was dancing like crazy in the water! : ) Hopefully next weekend will be less eventful. Although, it is not looking like it will be. I am going to dinner and movie with the girls Friday night, then we have a kids fishing contest at my parents neighborhood, then the last dance class before the recital, then Henley's(grace's friend) 5th Birthday Party. Then on Sunday we have Greg's family reunion in Ellijay from 10-5 and then my Mom's birthday party Sunday evening. My head is spinning already. On top of all of that Jennifer should be home from the Hospital on Sat. or Sun., so I need to cook a few dinners for her freezer. Well, I better go and lay down! : )

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SD2_QvkevCI/AAAAAAAAADo/BKhRZZCDfnk/s400/DSC_0300.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5205527038678449186" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SD3CqfkevDI/AAAAAAAAADw/XfvsOYoFNY0/s400/DSC_0322.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5205530779594964018" />

Mother's Day, Birthdays, Father's Day... Oh My!

Well, it is the season for our Family Celebrations. Collins kicks off the season with his Birthday on May 1. Then in May we have Mother’s Day, Claire’s (niece) Birthday, Nana (Greg’s Mom) Birthday. Then in June we have Mom’s Birthday, Greg’s Birthday, Max’s (nephew) Birthday, and Father’s Day. Every weekend until July is booked with some sort of Celebration. It is a good thing that we all like cake!

Today is Claire’s Birthday, but we had the Party on Saturday evening. Grace and Claire are in the same Pre-School class, so she took her a card and daisy today. Lucky for Grace, Claire brought cupcakes! All in all it was very exciting for our average Wednesday at school. When I picked her up, she announced that she had a new friend, and she would ask him his name tomorrow. I guess today she just called him “hey you!”.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SCs9xzjM4JI/AAAAAAAAAB8/69g9nAVM6Wc/s400/troy3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200318120590106770" />
Claire’s Birthday Card! She loves High School Musical. She gets so embarrassed whenever someone talks about the movie, and now with the power of Photo Shop I can make her cover her eyes and giggle!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SCs_czjM4KI/AAAAAAAAACE/6KGZKECJhic/s400/DSC_0258.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200319958836109474" />
Claire and Max (one of her brothers)
My sister makes her kids Birthday cakes every year. They are always delicious.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dIoiAoIiYHQ/SCtBqTjM4MI/AAAAAAAAACQ/GZj60A_vl44/s400/DSC_0255.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5200322389787599042" />
Grace likes HSM also, so watching Claire open her presents was so exciting! We are having a party this weekend for him, but we did have cake, cards, balloons and a few gifts. We started the day heading out to Publix to get a cake, and then we ran to Kmart for a new hose. Exciting I know! We like to live on the edge! I like to make all of our newly planted trees and shrubs get to the point where they give up all hope for a drink of water, and then I buy a hose! After that fun it was like 10am, so we shot home for some Diego and Laundry, and of course being asked 102 times by Grace "Can we have cake now?". Then we had a surprise visit from Aunt Missy and Claire who stopped by with a musical Thomas the Train balloon. This of course was a huge hit with the kids. Then Grandma stopped by with sprinkle donuts and few gifts. Collins and Grace were both bouncing off the walls at this point so I was pretty sure that Collins wouldn't nap. Luckily, I was wrong. He fell asleep quick and slept for his usual 2 hours. I cut the front and back yard and put new pine straw in the planters. I still only teased the plants with the sight of the new hose, because I ran out of time. After Collins got up we had dinner and then went out back to play and wait for Daddy to get home. I watered all of the plants, and they all seemed very happy. After Greg got home it was cake time finally!!! We did some singing, candle blowing, and cake eating. Then it was bath time and new PJ's from Grandma. Thank you Grandma! And last but in my opinion certainly not least, BED TIME! The day was done around 8:30pm. Then Greg blasted out the door after I made one attempt to get him to help me clean up the kids toys, because my back was killing me from cutting the grass and laying pine straw. He said that he didn't have time, because he was headed to his friend Mark's house to watch "Alien vs Predator". So with the final bit of energy that I had left, I crawled around on the floor and picked up all the toys. Then I watched a little television and went to bed.

I wrote this blog two weeks ago, but I never posted it. I am definitely getting better, at least I wrote something. I am going to try to add some pictures from the Birthday Festivities!

Enjoy, and I will write more later!

Time!

I have decided that I have less blogging time then I originally anticipated! Some how my DH has the ability to write 4 or 5 blogs, but I can't find the time to update 1 once a month. Oh Well, here is my update for now. I am messing around with a new website, and I wanted to test my new slide show. I will say that I know why I don't ever do this, both kids have been hanging on me and wishing we were doing something else! I have to say that after a few minutes of "I am so bored", I am ready to get out of here also! You always think I really need to start Blogging. Maybe it is just me, but Blogging was definitely on my To-Do-List. Well here I am and I have no idea what to write about in my first entry. I wish I could fast forward to a couple of weeks from now when I am in more of a blog rhythm...... (dream like music)

Good morning everyone! You know how I told you that G had her 4 year check up yesterday? Well it was awful! G passed with flying colors, but my DH and I were both really rattled. She had to have 6 shots! 3 in each tiny little thigh. My DH and I had to pin her down while 2 nurses held her legs down. Yuck!! My DH had tears in his eyes. Then when we got home I had the noon news on in the kitchen and the health story for the day was "Do Immunizations Cause Autism"! I don't even want to think about it now. I asked the nurse if we could get the shots in multiplies instead of all together, and she said that our office does not offer that option any more. Apparently the supplier is on a huge back order. Truly I was asking about it for C, because his 18month appointment is next month. I truly thought that G was out of the woods for autism???

(dream like music)
Anyway that would be nice, but the reality of it is that this is my first entry and I don't have too much to say, but what is really nice is that NO one is reading!
